Juvederm

Are you searching for a cosmetic procedure that helps skin combat the aging process, but leaves you looking natural after treatment is done?

At New England Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center in Weymouth, Mass., we’ve got the procedure you’ve been looking for: Juvederm Voluma.

Juvederm has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to help increase volume in the area around your cheeks. This helps restore contours and gives you a younger-looking appearance. And Juvederm results are long-lasting.

To learn more about Juvederm, or to schedule an appointment, contact New England Cosmetic today.

Studies indicate that nearly 75 percent of those who underwent Juvederm treatment reported that they appeared younger than they did prior to treatment. Most respondents said they appeared five years younger than their actual age!

And Juvederm results don’t fade for months and months. More than half of patients surveyed said they still looked younger than their age two years after treatment.

How is Juvederm Different?

Juvederm is an injectable gel that increases volume, but it also restores a firmer look on your jawline and chin. It’s like having a subtle facelift without surgery.

Some products may smooth wrinkles and deal with lines, but Juvederm is designed to exclusively target and restore volume to your face.

At New England Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center, Dr. John B. Lazor and our medical team can help you select the right Juvederm treatment for you.

We understand that every patient is different – and we work with them individually to help them achieve their specific aesthetic goals and needs.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

How many treatments are required depends on the needs of the specific patient. Impressive results can be gained after a single treatment, although many patients return for additional treatments to achieve the best results.

Typically, patients come for one treatment and return two or three months after for follow-up sessions.

Is Treatment Painful?

Patients feel an initial prick during treatment, but patients report Juvederm is not painful. We also can use a topical anesthetic if necessary, depending on the patient.

Is There Recovery Time?

Juvederm carries no downtime and patients can return to normal activity right after treatment is over. You may want to avoid strenuous physical workouts, alcoholic drinks and exposure to the sun for a day after your treatment.

Patients also may have mild tenderness, swelling, redness or itching at the treatment site, but these symptoms are not severe and can fade after a week or so.

Will I Look Unnatural After Treatment?

No. That’s one of the major benefits of Juvederm products. They leave you with a natural look. And your facial muscles will be able to move so you can still make normal facial expressions.

Friends and family may say you look well-rested and refreshed – but they likely won’t have a clue you have undergone treatment.

Pre-Treatment

There are some drugs and medications you should avoid before undergoing Juvederm treatment. Our team at New England Cosmetic will review your medical history with you and advise what steps you need to take before treatment.

Does Juvederm Work on Dark Skin?

Juvederm is effective and safe for all skin colors and types.

If you want to refresh your look and appear years younger than you are, consider Juvederm treatments.

Contact New England Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center today to let us show you the way to a younger-looking, revitalized you!
