Get Quicker Results with a Mini Facelift

facelift

A full facelift involves up to six weeks of recovery, and far more extensive surgery than many other cosmetic procedures. While it is effective, it is also one of the more dramatic options available. For those who simply wish to get a minimally-invasive technique to offset only minimal signs of aging, a mini-facelift could be just what the doctor ordered.

Dr. John Lazor offers his patients at the New England Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center mini-facelifts that offer quicker results and less downtime than a full facelift. To find out if you’re a candidate for a mini-facelift, contact New England Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center today. Our medical staff can answer any questions you may have.

A mini facelift involves some surgery to tighten and lift the cheek and jowl areas rather than the whole face. This is a spectacular method to help remove those slight but definitely noticeable signs of aging caused by loose or slacking skin. Mini facelifts have come to be known as the “weekend lift” due to the quick recovery time.

During a mini facelift, Dr. Lazor will use endoscopic techniques to help pull back and tighten the loose skin, remove necessary portions and then fasten the skin back into place with very tiny sutures. Most candidates are able to get back to work within just a few days and do not experience as much bruising or discoloration as they would with a full facelift.

This procedure works best for women in their late thirties and early forties that are experiencing sagging cheeks, sagging jowls and have deeper marionette lines. This fairly low-risk procedure can remove years from your appearance, without as much risk. Additionally, the long term effects are excellent and can last anywhere from five to ten years. This is the greatest benefit of a facelift as opposed to fillers or other cosmetic procedures that may only last a year or so.

This procedure may be in or out patient, depending on the surgeon and your specific needs. However, patients typically require less anesthesia and far less recovery time and may be able to go very quickly after the procedure.

Schedule your consultation with Dr. Lazor today to learn if you are a good candidate and to find out all the benefits of the mini facelift. Good candidates will be in good health, have realistic expectations of the results and only need improvement on the lower half of the face.
